Love: Unselfish. A deep,enduring concern for other's welfare.
Joy: Gladness of heart. A lively emotion of happiness.
Peace: Freedom from hostility or anxiety. Spiritual content.
Patience: Enduring of injuries or offenses.
Kindness: Good will. Grace. Compassion. Generosity.
Goodness: Pleasant, kind, proper, joyful, and agreeable.
Faithfulness: Believing, trusting, dependable and loyal.
Gentleness: Mild disposition. Tenderness. Refined manners.
Self-control: Being calm in difficult situations.
There we go! The 9 fruits of the Spirit! Everyone of us should aim to have all 9 of it! How is it possible? Why not? We have a lifetime to improve ourselves! So i encourage ALL of you to work hard towards all 9! I am working hard with you! HAHA!

Perfection!
OK people! Let us do a little quiz! Tick if you have done it.

However, God is perfect! Although God loves us so much that He allows us to make our own decisions, He already knows our choice. He has a perfect plan just FOR YOU!
E.g. let us use Ben as an example... God's plan for Ben is something like:

05/07/1990 07:17 20 seconds: Ben says "Mummy"
06/12/2008 10:53 14 seconds: Starts eating a bar of chocolates.

God's plan for you is so detailed to the seconds, Milli-seconds, Deci-seconds and so on... It does not need to change a single time after that. That! My brothers and sisters, is PERFECTION!
Therefore, rely on God and not on yourself. Let God decide what u do next, including what u eat, how you dress and so on... Why make imperfect decisions when God can make perfect decisions for you?
*God DID NOT plan for you to sin! He allows you to choose if you want to sin, and He knows what you will choose to do. Knowing all of your wrong decisions you may make in life, God still made a perfect plan just for you. BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU!*
Note to ALL guys out there: I may not know what reasons you have to want to have a girlfriend, but just remember this! That girl has feelings! Whatever! I mean WHATEVER you do to her, it will cause a huge impact in her life. So do not play with their feelings! If you are playing with them, STOP IT!

It is the start of school tomorrow!
Hello! For some of you, it is back to school tomorrow! Like most of you, i want an extra week, but we are not going to get it... homework still not done :( OH NO! However in all situation, praise God. Thank You God! Help me finish my homework tonight please! :)
As your know, it is back to school with friends. YAY! But to everyone who grew closer to God during this holidays, i pray that you will resist all temptations you may face every single day when school reopens (e.g. vulgarities, lying about your homework, bearing grudges and more...). I also pray that you will continue to grow closer to God and continue faithfully in your spiritual walk. Remember! No matter how busy you may be after school starts, set aside time to do your quiet time and devotion! God is in control of EVERYTHING! Seek God first and He will provide you with everything you need.
Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Trying not to be naggy, i just want to encourage you to grow closer to God even when school reopens! Praise God in ALL situation! :)

Reflection on today's sermon...
Hello people from everywhere! Hello! Today went to GII Youth Service! WOOTS! So today i am going to write the few main points that 'spoke' to me strongly.
1) Am i the main character or is God the main character? Obviously, it is God!
2) Role as a leader is NOT to teach in good language or teach wonderfully. The leader is to lead people to God. (i really felt something when he said that. i want people to say "wow! what a wonderful God!" and not " wow! what a wonderful speaker!")
3) Then the preacher said something that made me think. "Will you go blind for God?" I can like give my time, my money, my success, my failure and etc... to God. But will i go blind to glorify God? Right now, with all of you as witness, I WILL!
4) Oh! Oh! and there is a phrase 'trust God' As in seriously! not just say say only. It is easy to say God i trust you in everything. Then when something goes wrong, you panic. Trust God means before, during and after something.
5) Last point! BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT! There are 3 groups of people regarding the Word of God!
1. People who DO NOT read the bible!
2. People who READ the bible, go around spreading the gospel and getting very excited about everything and anything about God! BUT stop there.

God's Love is WOAH!
hey! its time for another day of post! wee~~
OK! today i am going to talk about the extent God's love:
1) God could have destroyed mankind and recreate them again when adam and eve sinned. Why not? because He LOVES us!
2) God could control our every single movement, action, speech, thinking and much more. why did God allow us to make our own decisions and choices? because He LOVES us!
3) God created so many animals in the sea, land and air as food for us. just for birds, we have chickens, ducks, goose, turkeys, pigeons and much more. God created so many animals so that we may have a variety of food to choose from. because He LOVES us!
4) Why do God always forgive us of our sins despite the infinite times we have sinned? because He LOVES us!
5) Although God allowed us to rule over animals. God gave us so many things, He gave us EVERYTHING! but God request from us is just to repent and live. God does not expect us to be holy or godly, He just wants you to repent. because He LOVES us!
Alright! here are just 5 simple ways to show u the extent of God's love. i'm trying to keep the posts short so..... BYE BYE!

Questions About The Bible Answered!
The bible is written by 40 authors over a period of 1600 years. 30 wrote the Old Testament (OT) and 10 wrote the New Testament (NT). The first author was called Moses. He lived between the years 1500 BC – 1300 BC. Therefore, it is estimated that the earliest record of the bible was written around 1400 BC. The last author was named Apostle John and his last writings were written around the year 95 AD. You may ask, “It has been 3000 years since Moses first wrote the book of Genesis, so how did his writings survive till now?” Unfortunately, it did not. Then how do we know it is real? It is because there were over 5000 complete or partial copies copied by people in the past. Thousands of these copies also matched each other amazingly. There is no major variation within the copies; therefore, we are sure that it is real.
And of course there was a great diversity in language, culture and time lapse when the bible was written throughout the 1600 years. By looking at the writing style of the authors, it is clear that there is no mechanical word-for-word dictation. It means the writer did not copy one word by one word of what God had said. It is clear that the authors had their own style of writing and their personalities were very evident through their writing. They could also have been influenced by the style way of writing during their time. This showed us something. The Holy Spirit (God) gave the writers the message God intended to give mankind and guided them to write it out through their own unique style of writing. That is not amazing. The amazing part is all 66 chapters gave one unified message, “God’s love for mankind”. Imagine this: 40 writers, 1600 years, yet 1 message. Tell me! How can it be faked? Only God can create such an amazing thing. Praise God! Therefore, there were not 40 authors, but only 1 main author. And that author is God.
The next question you might ask is; are the miracles Jesus performed as stated in the bible real? Of course! Then you say, “But it is scientifically proven that it is impossible”. Of course! If man can do it, what is so great about God? Then it would not be called miracles. The question you should be asking is, “Is the bible real?” If you believe the bible is real, then you would believe in the miracles Jesus performed.
Some have asked me this question, “Why did God kill people and destroy cities when He loved mankind so much?” Is this question difficult? NO! God obviously desires for sinners to repent and go closer to Him. However, there is a point when evil is very contagious (like SARS or H1N1). When evil is so pervasive that immorality, degradation, and barbarity that it invaded every aspect of life. In the past, innocent children were sacrificed to idols and male & female prostitution took place in the temple. God’s people were in danger of being infected! God did not want His people to be infected, thus He had no choice but to unleash His wrath! One example of preventing more innocent people from dying is the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Yes, no doubt innocent and guilty people perished together in the bombing; however, it had put an end to future killings by the Japanese. Did you know from then on, countries decided not to use war as a tool but as a form of defence? This PREVENTED future world wars and MUCH MORE innocent lives from being lost. THANK YOU GOD!
Another question was, “Is the bible translated accurately?” For those who do not know, English is a live subject, it means it constantly changes. Therefore, there is a need for bible scholars to continue to update the bible. Secondly, the bible was written in many different languages (e.g. Hebrew, Greek and more). For some words in Hebrew or Greek, it cannot be directly translated to express the certain emotion and expression of the writer. Therefore, words are formed to bring that feeling to the reader. Some direct translations are also difficult to understand and it is unreadable as the grammar and vocabulary did not exist back then. Therefore bible scholars have translated in a way to express the certain emotions the authors wanted to express to us.

I Agree :)
To tell you the truth, i have no idea what to write, so i will just blog about my thoughts.
If you do not know yet, men are visual creatures. This means that they will only believe something if they see or hear something. That is why people find it hard to believe in God.
No doubt i know it is hard to believe God exist because you cannot see Him. But all disbelief comes from satan. Many people have different ways to maintain their strong faith in God, i would like to share my way.
Firstly, i strongly suggest you to read the bible EVERYDAY. By soaking in the Word of God, you will know He is always there for YOU. Secondly, God is Jehovah Shammah (the Lord is there). Thirdly, no matter how much you doubt God, remmeber God loves you and He will NEVER forsake you.
Just a little encouragement. No matter how much you doubt, just remember this:
GOD LOVES YOU!

Temptations
Praise God! :)
Ya... i know my past few posts are like super duper long, so i will try to keep this post short :)
Temptation–noun
1.the act of tempting; enticement or allurement.
2.something that tempts, entices, or allures.
3.the fact or state of being tempted, especially to evil.
Everyone will always be tempted by the devil (e.g. scold vulgarities, shout at your parents, steal and etc...). And sometimes you ask yourself, "when i am being tempted, am i a bad person or someone who can be cheated easily, that is why devil tries to tempt me?" The answer is NO! The devil will tempt anybody and anyone, including Jesus when He was in human form. YES! You did not see wrongly, satan did tempt Jesus. (to know who is Jesus, click here)

So what i am trying to say is, when you are being tempted, you are not a bad person. God will still love you regardless of whether you have sinned. When you feel tempted, control yourself, do not let satan win. God is watching you, so be careful with whatever you do! My dear brothers and sisters, persevere! Let us work together to glorify God with every decision we make! WE SHALL TRIUMPH OVER satan! <----- (satan was small, is small, and will continue to be small. wahahahaha!)

How different are we from non-believers?
Hello people from all over the world! Haha! I was like reading Matthew 5 and it really got me thinking. Your would have already guessed what I was thinking by looking at the title...
Before that, do you know God's standard is very high?
MURDER
Matthew 5: 21-22
v21"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.'
v22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.
This means when u hate someone, or u are angry at someone you have committed murder in God's eyes. Scary right? That is why we should always forgive one another. If we do not forgive the other person, God will not forgive your sins too.
Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
ADULTERY
Matthew 5:27-28
v27 "You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.'
v28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Guys, we are all in trouble! >.<>
SWEARING
Matthew 5:34-37
v34 But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne;
v35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
v36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.
v37 Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
Read verse 37 again! When you reply, let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No'. It means do not say **** Yes or **** No. Simply say Yes or No! Another thing is swearing. I know of some people who say "i swear i did not" easily as 1,2,3 when you actually did do something wrong. Do you know how much you have hurt God? It really hurts Him.
AN EYE FOR AN EYE
Matthew 5:38-42
v38 "You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.'
v39 But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
v40 And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.
v41 If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.
v42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
Most of you think that if someone hit me, i have the rights to hit him back. Am i right? WRONG AGAIN! If you do that, you are the same as the person who hit you. That person has caused hurt to someone, if you hit him back, you have done the same. So are you actually any different than that person? The answer is NO.
LOVE YOUR ENEMIES
Matthew 5:43-48
v43 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
v44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
v45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
v46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
v47 And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
v48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
This paragraph was really powerful to me. It was like a summary to the whole chapter. If we only love those we like, everyone does that too. If we only say 'hi' to people close to you, everyone does it too. So the question is, "How different are we?" Remember, God loves everyone but hates their sins. And God still sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to wash our sins away :)
I must really admit that i was quite shocked by this chapter. It really made me realise I am not very different. So now, i would like to encourage all of you to do your best to be perfect! As our heavenly Father is perfect!

OK! Today's topic will be LOVE :) What is love?
The dictionary says....

I was recently disturbed by "love" but i soon found the meaning in my heart. Oh! Oh! Oh! THANKS SHEENA!!! <--- She helped me understand it :p
Question time: Do you find it difficult to love your family or friends? Does it mean a boy and a girl love means Boy-Girl-Relationship?
To me, there are a few types of love :)
Brother-Sister: Showing care and concern to her/him without expecting anything in return. You would be worried for him/her when him/her is sick or troubled.Helping whenever him/her is in need.
Family love: Never hold grudges, accept them as who they are, show care and concern without expecting anything in return. Help each other when possible (e.g. chores "i don't like it, but i still do haha"). But teach them when they are in the wrong. If u do not, you are harming them instead of helping them. When you are in the wrong, apologise! Your parents will still love you and will forgive you if you are willing to change.
Psst: Parents are human, humans are not perfect. What they do may not be correct, but they are doing it because they love you. Parents have different way to show love, some may not show (especially fathers) but deep down they do :) Awwww~~~

I was recently disturbed by "love" but i soon found the meaning in my heart. Oh! Oh! Oh! THANKS SHEENA!!! <--- She helped me understand it :p
Question time: Do you find it difficult to love your family or friends? Does it mean a boy and a girl love means Boy-Girl-Relationship?
To me, there are a few types of love :)
Brother-Sister: Showing care and concern to her/him without expecting anything in return. You would be worried for him/her when him/her is sick or troubled.Helping whenever him/her is in need.
Family love: Never hold grudges, accept them as who they are, show care and concern without expecting anything in return. Help each other when possible (e.g. chores "i don't like it, but i still do haha"). But teach them when they are in the wrong. If u do not, you are harming them instead of helping them. When you are in the wrong, apologise! Your parents will still love you and will forgive you if you are willing to change.
Psst: Parents are human, humans are not perfect. What they do may not be correct, but they are doing it because they love you. Parents have different way to show love, some may not show (especially fathers) but deep down they do :) Awwww~~~
Friends love: Love for friends can be shared with the opposite sex. This does not mean you have to date the person to have love for the opposite sex. Friend's love is to show care and concern to your friend in good times and bad times. You love the person because of who he/she is and not what he/she can give you. BUT you would not want to progress further into the relationship (like dating).
Boy-Girl-Relationship (BGR): Sorry i cannot help you :( I am not in a relationship...
Question: How do you know you are ready for a BGR?
Answer: When you feel your spiritual walk with God is close and you will put God above your partner. God will provide the perfect one for you, you do not have to go looking for one.
Owner-Pet-Relationship(OPR): It is to care for the animal and to make sure every part of its life is cared for till it dies.
Psst: Difficult? Think about how great God is. God did it!
Maid-Employer: Is there such love that exist between them? YES! The status "maid" is just another occupation. She is also human. She deserves your love too! If you treat her with love, i am sure she will feel it and she will return the love. :)
Now let us summarise! What is love?
It is to show care and concern without condition. It means do not expect anything in return when you do things for people :) I know it is difficult when people do not appreciate you or never even say a word of thank you. BUT remember! Holy Trinity
Today... I have alot of mixed feelings. It just feels weird. But first, I am glad to meet my new friends again!!! YAY! However, it is like i am going through (satan's trial and temptations) x 3. The close i get to God, the tougher the spiritual warfare gets, and i am going through it now. satan GO AWAY! God i will move on and continue to get closer with you! Thanks for your encouragement Jeremiah :) HAHA!
Ok people, after so much of me, IT IS TIME FOR GOD! Today, i am going to post about the HOLY TRINITY.
Question: Who exactly is God?
God the Father
•God is the creator of heaven and earth.
•He speaks, hears, acts and loves you.
e.g. He is the one who hears and answers your prayers.
Genesis 1:1
God the Son
•He died on the cross and rose again.
•The only way to God is through Him. (will explain this a.s.a.p.)
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God the Holy Spirit
•He empowers us in times of need.
e.g. Courage to evangelise, words to use when teaching the word of God and etc.
•He gives each one of us different gifts.
e.g. Speaking in tongues, prophesying, leadership, teaching, giving, mercy and way more….
1 Corinthians 12
They are 3 person yet 1 God. Do not understand? It is because God created us and not us who created God. Haha! They are all omnipotent, omniscience, omnibenevolence, omnipresence and eternal. They are equal and none is greater than the other. They are perfect in everything. (e.g. unity, oneness)
Omnipotent: One who has the power to do anything and everything He wants. (and its always for our own good) à (cliché but true…)
Omniscience: Know everything and anything, including what you are thinking now.
Omnibenevolence: Unlimited kindness. It means His kindness to you can be anything to everything.
Omnipresence: He is everywhere! (Behind you! Left of you! No! Now right of you!
Eternal: He lives forever :) :) :)
Food For Thought: Don’t you find that it is amazing that 3 of them can live together since the beginning to the end, never quarrel, never have disputes, but love one another and work together without trying to overpower each other?
Psst: If it is me, I would have tried to outdo the other person. And how is it possible to live with another person without disputes over issues? I wonder how they do it o.O

Spiritual Dryness (suggested by daltone) HELLO DALTONE!!!
To anyone who feels far away from God, you can't hear or feel Him, your heart could be filled with distractions as mentioned in the post "FASTING :)" However, i would not want to leave you troubled so i would like to encourage you to read Psalm 102. For those who are lazy to open your bible, i am going to type it out. (see i so nice :p)

FASTING :)
I just had this feeling inside to post about this topic. So... ya, here i go!
Question: What is the first thing that comes into your mind when i say fasting?
Answer: Most probably your answer is food. ( no use lying to yourself :p )
That was the answer that also comes into my mind everytime the word FASTING appeared. However, there are other things that are better than food. No doubt food is essential in life, you will feel hungry and you will be tormented and stuff. But all these are in a way "physical pain".
Now give yourself a moment before carrying on reading. Think about things in your life that is much more important than food (e.g. TV, Facebook, MySpace, Handphone, Movies, Music and much more...). Just try to think of 1 to 2 of these. (try not to skip this step)
THAT ARE THE ONES THAT ARE DISTRACTING YOU FROM GOD!!!
Try fasting the things you have listed. Try fasting for 3days? 1 week? 1 month? You may actually feel uncomfortable and attracted to it everytime u walk pass ur TV, MP3 and more...
You may actually find out that those are distractions/parasites in your life. SATAN IS USING THOSE TO BRING YOU AWAY FROM GOD! So my brothers and sisters, stay strong and take heart! Throw those distractions away from you and you will hear God's voice. God had never stop talking to you, you were not listening. It is like cotton buds in your ears. Take it out (fasting) and you will hear Him.
NOTE: DO NOT compare what you fast with your friends. It is personal between you and God. The same things have different meanings to everybody.

So Fun to Know satan Will Lose
Revelation 20:10
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Now this is interesting. As u know, satan also knows the word of God, satan was actually once an angel. So if satan knows the word of God, he would actually know the exact time he would be thrown into the lake of burning sulfur right? SATAN IS WAITING FOR HIS DEATH! IM LAUGHING AT YOU SATAN! HAHAHAHA!!!
If you see this post, i just want to tell you that satan is bringing you away from GOD so that he would not be lonely for the rest of his life. He is just a pathetic guy who hates to be lonely. BLEAH! Do you want to be with a loser for the rest of your life??? Hope not, if u do, u need counselling... LOL!

Youth Camp 2009
OK! so this is like my first post... haha!
Went to youth camp at Grace II from 14/06/09 3pm to 17/06/09 1pm. wont go into details but here is what i felt...
14/06/09
On the first day, God's presence could be felt. It was super super amazing to feel God! And it was like the FIRST day only... I was also "given" the word 'outcast'. That word really described how things were going, like from my past till now and i believe it will be for my future too. But with God, i am afraid of nothing! BRING IT ON SATAN! I DECLARE WAR WITH YOU!

The sad thing was i did not go for night service, was having my magic test at IBM. Haiz... But i learnt that we need to like get rid of distractions and parasites to really hear God. Not only that, we must act. So what if we hear God but we remain in the same place, not moved by His love and remain neutral, it will all be in vain. Clear your heart and mind before God before you can hear Him. And i feel i really need that!

I learnt something very, super, duper like ultra important today! The "woah" effect for God! We all say we are afraid of God and we are amazed at His creation. But are we? If we are, we wont be committing sins like almost daily... The "woah" effect in life is really just to come closer to Him, for me. I know he will forgive my past, present, future sins. But as long as we strive to come closer to Him and only Him, we have achieved the "woah" effect.

LOVE GOD FOR WHO HE IS, NOT WHAT HE GIVES!
